My school has the "new students orientation"?

It's my FRESHMAN YEAR of high school.my school has the new students orientation.What will we do there?What will the teachers talk about?Do we need to bring something? Do we must attend it?THX!

Ahh, i had one for my first year of middle school. Basically they split you up into groups and either an older student ( a nice one, usually) or a teacher will tour you around school. Then you might get a schedule and go to all the classes on it, and in each class theyll give you a short orientation. If you had to bring anything it would say, Usually you dont need anything, maybe a pencil. It is optional to attend, but i think i would if i were you. Good luck this year. (:
