My school only sells Soda?

Question

We have 1 vending machine (Because we are a small school of 30 kids at the max.) And all's it has in it is Soda. I am not allowed to have soda because i have braces on and my ortho. said no soda. And i want something good to drink during the day. Also they open the closet with junk food but it's food i can't have like chips (Can't have anything crunchy) Snickers...ETC. So what can i bring to school that would be okay to eat with braces on? And what are some good drinks to drink during the day with braces on?

u can drink soda lol im drinking it rite now and i have braces i eat everything ur not suppose to eat but it never dose any harm if u want bring ur own lunches like sandwiches or fruit salad idk lol btw ur braces will hurt the first 3 or 2 weeks

Ask someone in the office if there is a small refrigerator available that you might be allowed to keep 2 or 3 cans of juice during the day. Take your own "brown bag" lunch of whatever you are allowed to eat. I wore braces when I was younger,and carried my own lunch. Fortunately, I liked a lot of different stuff. I always had fruit like bananas oranges even avocados. Always had a sandwich I could eat. AND I always had a toothbrush and toothpaste in my lunch to brush after eating. Ask your ortho for some other suggestions. He/she might even write a note to the school to assist you in getting what you need.

bring a bottle of water with u or seltzer try ice tea or juice maybe .. as for the food its more of like a guide line its just to protect from the possibility of one of the bands falling out when i had my braces i would eat star bursts and gum and hard candies all the time even apples and chips none of the braces ever fell off so basically its like eat at ur own risk maybe try eating a chip in smaller bites so it wont get stuck ... if u are set on not eating crunchy and/or chewy foods though try eating grapes , marshmallows ( although those may count as chewy ) bananas, raisins mainly healthy snacks is all i can think of... u should really try some snacks tho like food is normally either crunchy or chewy so ur best bet would be with something sort of in the middle crackers , chocolate.... hope that is a little help

You could try Lemon or Lime juice diluted in water.

Might be wise to rinse your mouth with water afterwards so the metalwork can't be corroded [if it could be]

Orthodentists are always exaggerating about the hazards of eating certain foods with braces. I had them and I drank soda whenever I wanted (and nothing happened!). I even ate carrots.

But you shouldn't eat those things simply because they're EXTREMELY unhealthy.

Buy a pack of 24 waterbottles and take 2 to school everyday with you.

Ice tea with artificial sweetener,gatorade, and water are some drinks that are ok.

As to what foods are Ok : Oranges, apples if you cut it up into small slices, cheese, yogurt, grapes, strawberries are all ok.  Just avoid crunchy  and sticky sweet snacks.
