I'm just starting my senior year of highschool. I moved here from California to Georgia and both schools claim that I never completed the 10th grade, and have no records. I know for a fact I did but I have no records on me. What can I do?

  1. Neither school has NOTHING in their computer records?  That's a little suspect to me.

I honestly don't know what to tell you as I have never heard of this happening.

Call a lawyer?  Contact your 10th grade teachers and get letters of affidavit from them?    Someone has to have SOMETHING somewhere, or else how could you have made it this far?!

    Good luck!!!!

  2. ~* ask them if you can take an test to show that you know the academics of 10th grade!!! *~

  3. So you were able to complete 11 despite both schools claiming that you didn't finish 10th grade?

Write to your old school, list as many teachers as possible that you took in 10th grade, and have them explain why they don't acknowledge that you completed their subject.  If you transferred mid-way through 10th grade, then something should have happened in your new school.  Good luck.

  4. No offense, I live in Texas and my dad works for the Texas Education Agency, its hard to believe that a public or private school has no record of you completing a whole grade. Contact your new school districts board memebers and start there. It might be better if you physically go up to your school district's adminstartion building.
