Question:

My screen acts in sleep mode when computer is...

It is a Hewlitt Packard Desktop and when you turn the computer on, the screen acts like it is in sleep mode. The screen comes on yellow and then goes black. Is it a monitor problem? I do not have the model number. It was purchased in 2001.
