how do i clean my sea monkey cage with out anything i mean it is getting dirtty you can berlly the sea monkeys how do i clean it with out hurtting any of them

Transfer them to a bowl of water while you clean the bowl, then put them back in the fresh water into the bowl.

That's what works with fish, it should work with brine shrimp.

Sea Monkeys are simply Brine Shrimp...Clean the tank like you would if it was full of fish.

Hi

The best method it to pour some of the cleaner water from the top of the tank into a separate bowl. Then use a pipette to capture the individuals one at a time and place them into the bowl as well. Don't use a net as your sea dragons may be damaged by the netting material.

Finally pour the remaining water in the tank through a disposable coffee filter or even a piece of paper towel so that the larger waste material is trapped as the water goes through it. Next you can give your tank a really good rinsing under the tap and use your finger to clean the sides etc. I wouldn't use a scrubbing brush or sponge because you are likely to scratch the plastic just use your finger.

Finally when all is clean you can pour the water and sea monkeys that you set aside back into the tank. Even if there is a little bit of debris left over, it is best to leave it there because it will settle fairly quickly and your sea monkeys do feed on it Also there are beneficial organisms in it that help to break down waste next time you feed.
