  1. Well, how significant is the list?

My 300 DA lists slightly to the starboard, but this just has to do with equipment and the like.

Where is your holding tank? How about your freshwater tank? Oh, and don't forget your batteries, are they on the starboard?

Maybe run your starboard fuel tank a little light to compensate.

  2. Here is the simple solution to your problem... simply ask your mother-in-law to sit on the other side.

  3. All great answers. One other suggestion: at 29 feet, you probably leave the boat in the water. Depending on the age of the boat and how rough you've been with it, it's possible that water is permeating the layup. If you've grounded the boat hard along a chine, you could gouge it sufficiently to make a 10 foot long inlet for water to seep. Over time, it's not hard for 40 or 50 pounds of water to get in.  If you can't figure out any other source, it's a possibility. Inspect it carefully next time it's out of the water.

  4. I work in the offshore industry, vessel stability is a big deal. It may not be water, be sure your fuel is evenly distributed if you have more than 1 tank. Is your gray water or black water tank on that side. Are your stores IE food, beverages, supplies etc evenly distributed? Check around, the problem should be easily corrected.

  5. It is not a design issue, you have to much stuff on  the starboard side of the boat. Look around, you will find it.
