My search mail no longer works - please help!?

I have used seach mail successfully for years - suddenly it is not functioning at all, regardless of how tightly I refine the search, it will still say zero results. Please help!!!! I really need this feature!!!!

Sounds like a common glitch. Restart the pc and try again.
