My seven year old daughter won't sleep in her own bed, Help.?

she is almost eight and refuses to sleep by herself in her own bed. she likes to fall asleep in my own bed and then once she is asleep i move her to her own bed before i go to bed, I am tired of this routine and it needs to stop any suggestions?

My 8 year old would not sleep in her own bed, after her parents separation...over 2 years ago now.  I managed to nip it in the bud at my place, however, her father still allows her to sleep in his bed,when she stays over there, much to my annoyance...!!!

It's like a kind of manipulation.... I know that her father lets her get her own way, but I don't.  Just recently it has started again, the tantrums, screaming and 'pinky promises' I'll do whatever you want as long as I can sleep in your bed, just tonite....

I am in the first trimester of pregnancy, and feeling very tired, when I have my bed to myself, I like to have it to myself, and not have an 8 year old thrashing about and waking me up every hour.  I personaly feel that a parents bed is there bed and not for the child to enter.....

My daughter is 7 almost 8 as well and would not stay in her bed.  We tried many things and nothing worked.  We decided to pay her $1 per night for each night she stays in her bed. We also put a clock in her room and that she had to stay in her room unitl the clock read 6:30am in order to get the $1 per night then she could come and get me if she had to.  I have to say it has worked and I usually have to wake her up. Also, with the money she earns when she wants something she knows she has to use that money.
