hes a very sweet and curious little boy but there are times he sticks his nose in things that really don't concern him, how do I go about it in a nice way to help him worry only about himself and not what everyone is doing or talking about?

  1. turn the tables on him and be just as nosy into his life for a while. when he doesn't like it have a talk with him about personal conversations and privacy. he is old enough to understand the ideas behind them

  2. My 8 year old does that. It's a phase.

I will be talking to my husband or someone else and he will just jump right in.

I tell him that if I am not talking to him or I don't say his name first then he needs to butt out.

It's still a work in progress.

Sometimes he does it just because he knows it bugs me.

  3. My 8 yr old son was totally like that last year. I would explain to him that I was having a conversation with someone and it really did not concern him and interrupting people was rude. They are very curious and you should definitely explain or answer any questions they have but interrupting someone else's conversation is a big no no. He learned pretty quickly what was appropriate.

  4. why not just explain things to him, and when you cant tell him your having adult talk

but really the best way to educate a kid is to explain everything they ask about

  5. Welcome to the world of a seven yr old they are notorious for not minding their own business. My niece does that to they are very inquisitive.

  6. Obviously his parents haven't taught him to keep his nose out of everyone else's business.  That isn't his fault that is the fault of the people who have raised him, his father being one.
