My shake fell and got under my keyboard. I got it out as best as I could, and it seemed fine. But then...?

But then, when I tried using it later, after being downstairs a while, I came back up and discovered my keys were sticking. I cleaned out under them, and when I went to the other side, I found out both my control keys and shift keys don't work anymore. When I press them, they mute the sound and then spout out random letters. What do I do?

this might sound crazy but you can actually put desktop keyboards in the dishwasher. be super careful that you take it out before it gets to the sanitize or dry cycle.  also be sure to let it dry out for a few days before you plug it back in.  i have done it before and it works wonderfully!

you need to get a new keyboard. it wont work again. the same happened to me a while ago....it sucked.
