My shirts are stiff from underarm stains how do i remove this stiffness and stains?

My shirt has white residue from my deorderant and is very stiff in that spot

~~~VInegar! Plain white vinegar. I use it full strength in a spray bottle, saturate the stain and leave on at least on hour. Then launder as usual. The stain will dissapear and it will be soft and fresh smelling!

Try soaking that part in a small bowl of vinegar then rewash.  Ensure that deodorant/antiperspirant is thoroughly dry before dressing.
