My shitzhu bites alot. ?

Question

I mean everytime hes excited he goes at my ankles or my hands. Got him at 7 months after he was abused and I raised him bacvk to health. BUt now he constantly bites. How can I fix this?

You have to show him who the alpha dog is first of all. Then distract him from the bad behavior while he is trying to focus on doing it. Quite honestly you might try watching some shows of the "Dog Whisperer" on the National Geographic Channel. Even though we have had dogs for many years we have learned a lot of stuff from watching the show.
