My short arm cast smells really bad! can i stop the stench?

Your skin within the cast has gotten moist and is beginning to putrefy. Kind of like what happens to your feet if you workout hard all week and never once change your socks.

If it's itching really bad you need to go see your doctor to have it removed and refitted or else you risk severe dermatitis or infection.

try mixing a few drops of tea tree oil with some water in a small spray bottle. Spray it as far down your cast as possible. the stench is from bacteria and the tea tree oil can kill of some of it and thus help reduce the smell.
