My shoulder aches, and when i take a deep breath in there's a stabbing pain. It's happened before, but it went away on its own. I don't think exercise causes it because i only had to move a little bit, and it felt like it cracked and the pain started. What could be wrong? and what can i do to stop it?

Thanks for your help :)

  1. Try NHS Direct - 0845 46 47.  I think it's important you find out what it is.

  2. you may be showing the symptoms of asthma the same things happened to me when right before i was diagnosed with the disease for the second time

  3. some of your symptoms are a red  flag.. you may need  a cxr ....see your md and get it investigated it probably is nothing .....but if you need medicl care it will be a bargain.

  4. It could be muscle/skeletal related injury. muscle strain. to know for sure you might consider an x ray or see an othopedic specialist. or get a doctor thats a D.O. (doctor of osteopathic medicine) instead of an M.D.

  5. To be honest, it sounds like indigestion or trapped wind. Sometimes this can be so painfull that you think you are having some kind of heart problem. Try some indigestion remedies or ranitadine. If this does not help within half an hour, try a wee trip to the doc's . He/she will be able to put your mind at rest. I doubt that you are having a serious health issue.  I have been embarrassed before, sitting in the casualty department with nothing more than too many onions in my curry!!!!

  6. If DIY,  go for exercises like yoga, pilates etc

If with help from others, try a local therapist for a massage session

if lazy, can even get those reflexology massage shoes/sandals
