My sim won't move! she's stuck doing nothing!?

this is for the sims pets 2 for ps2.

i was trying to train one of my cats to sing. now my sim has been stuck for basically 2 sim days just standing in front of the cat. there's a puddle next to her and an option to clean up the puddle, but when i chose clean up, she does nothing. the cat is still in front of me. and i have no bathroom, no food, no sleep, no video games nothing on the mood bar because she's been like this for 2 days! my cats keep running away because she can't care for them and she won't pass out either. i don't know how to move her! please help me!

i've tried saving and turning off the game...ahhh i'm so pissed.

I had a similar problem with one of my toddlers.  she got hung up and anyone who tried to interact with her got hung up too and meanwhile I was getting warning notices about not keeping the child fed and clean.

I finally had to do a hard shut down without saving and shut my computer off completely and then restart the computer and then go back into the game.  The game picked back up where I last saved which was just after the freeze.  It ran like it was supposed to after that.

if that doesn't solve the problem,  you end and delete that game and start a new one.

if that still doesn't fix the problem then you uninstall the entire game and then reinstall the game and start over.
