My sims 2 game wont install?

Everyone tells me that my license has run out and that I need to buy a new game. Is there anyway I can fix this problem without doing this?!

Perhaps if you explain the error message you receive when trying to install someone could help you.  You haven't given enough information to even make a guess as to why the game won't install.  Have you installed the game before on this computer?

i'd go to the store were u bought it and exchange it with a new game its probably defective
