  1. Try updating your Display Driver...

  2. Sounds like the game is too much for your computer to handle, did you check that your computer has all the minimum requirements before installing it?

Maybe you need a new graphics card.

  3. You may need to update your display driver. This same thing happened to me for a long time, I recommend you take it into a computer repair place and have them diagnose it.

  4. If you tell us your system information it would be a lot easier for us to answer your question

what operating system are you running? Vista or XP?

Go to start, run, and type in dxdiag hit ok

when it opens copy what is on the screen then click the tab that says display and write what is on that tab

    Than we can help better.

  5. To find out your adapter right click on your desktop then go to

    Properties > Settings > Advanced > Adapter

You will see all the details of your Adapter (graphics card) there under the adapter tag. Now compare it with the requirements for Celebration Stuff, which is your latest expansion if you have Double Deluxe:

ATI Radeon 8500 or greater; NVIDIA GeForce2 GTS or greater.

Is you card one of those? If it is, you probably have to upgrade your drivers. If it isn't, you unfortunately probably won't be able to play your game until you get one of those supported cards.
