My singer sewing machine is beeping and a red light goes on when I attempt to thread the bobbin.?

what can I do to remedy this problem? What is the problem, or what could the problem be?

Without knowing the model of the machine, there's little anyone can even begin to guess at.

It could be just about anything. Do you mean FILL the bobbin, or are you trying to put the bobbin into the machine? If you're filling, some problems might be Clutch not released, pin not in position, thread path not correct. Look closely at your manual and see where you might have gone wrong in setting up to fill the bobbin.

If you're just trying to get the bobbin into its case and the case into the machine, there's another whole list f things you could be doing wrong. Again, go step by step with the manual.
