  2. Start with a plunger if that doesn't clear it empty the sink (or wait for it to drain) then remove the trap and clean it.

  3. I know this sounds discusting but it works.

Get your toilet plundger and plundge your sink the way you do your toilet.

Then go to the store and get drain cleaning gel.

    Hope I helped.

  4. Empty as much water from the sink as you can. Use a rag to soak up all that you can out of the drain. If the problem isn't too severe you can pour a cup of baking soda into the drain and follow it with 1/2 cup of vinegar.  It will boil out of the drain but let it set for awhile  then plunge.  If that works, boil water and pour it down the drain.  Do this several times and that will remove greese build up in your pipes. Do the baking soda and boiling water once a month to keep your drains clear.  If it doesn't do the trick then you get to take the p trap apart.  Again remove as much water from the sink as possible to lessen the mess when you take the P trap apart.  Be sure to put a bucket underneath before you loosen the nut.

  5. You can use Draino, but its so CAUSTIC, & Hard on your Lines. Get a bucket, & open up your P trap thats under the sink. If its plastic you should be able to Loosen the Nut by hand.{ Righty Tighty, Lefty Loosy} The P Trap is the 1 that looks like a U . After the sink contents empty into the bucket.  Check the trap {if its clogged youll Know it} If its clear then the clog is further.  Then you can use a Snake  {Hardware Store}  That you insert into your line further, until it removes the problem. They also make a ballon type device that you can attach to a garden hose, insert into your drain line, & when you turn on the water it swells up lodges itself in the line & sends a High pressure Pulse of water, to dislodge your problem.  I have seen many use Draino & other Acids. But If you have metal lines, Then You will have more problems later, That Stuff Is CAUSTIC & CORROSIVE, DONT BREATHE IT!
