My sister's 8th grade graduation.?

my sister is graduating 8th grade next week. me and my mom want to do something really special for her, but she's homeschooled (except for a math class at a public school.) she's also epileptic.

does anyone have any ideas of what we could do for her? we can't do anything that involves flashing lights, etc, because they will cause seizures, just to let you know.

You could take her to somewhere pleasant where there's lots of natural landscape of trees, lakes, trails, mountains, and picnic areas.

Definitely, the choice of a natural place is much more of a treasure and remembrance than many other places in general.

Moreover, these places are also a revival and/or nourishment for the mind and body in general.

Have a party for her.  There is no need for flashing lights, bright lights, lots of movement, or anything else that triggers her seizures.

well if you wanted to do something small, you could take her to a beach for a week after she graduates. or if you want to do something bigger you could get her somethng she would enjoy like  a puppy.

maybe invite some friends over and have everyone sing a song and make her feel special

Maybe you guys could take her on a mini rode trip. Or just ask her what she wants.

Contact the radio stations (especially the one your sister and her friends like) and ask them to do a special on-air congratulations for your sister (similar to wishing her a "happy birthday"). Also, go to places that have small billboards or reader boards and ask them to put a small congratulatory note on; then, have your sister beside the announcement and take a picture. You can also place a "personal" ad in the local newspaper.

Having flowers delivered is also sweet. You can buy special "award" paper at your local Staples or other office supply store and have a certificate of graduation made.
