  1. If you've got the money, then for excercise and for the sociability it would create. As kids you really should have your parents figured out enough to give us more info lol

But if anything go with the puppy dog eyes, and bargaining, of you'll do this, then we get the pool

Grades, chores, jobs, money and showing independence is normally a good way of doing it.

  2. you are gonna pay for it? have you found out how much it actually costs? it is not cheap as say a ticket to a movie and a box of popcorn. hahaha, i can picture your folks laffing til it hurts and then laffing some more. youre funny

  3. hehe am i the only one that noticed what category she put the question in?

  4. start digging the hole or hire the people to start doing while your parents are at work

  5. I think you and your sister need some economics lessons.  First of all purchasing a pool plus supplies needed for it and installation would be around $5000.00.  Maintenance costs for continued use easily will be $1000.00 per year.  Now, if you and your sister have that kind of money, go for it.  Likely your parents can't afford such an extravagance as a pool.  Maybe you and your sister could be less selfish and greedy?

  6. .A pool takes alot more then just paying for it , the upkeep is  not just finical but labor too. some city's have a fence law, and insurance just in case...... you might agree to more then just paying for it , let them see ur more mature on the thinking then they though. good luck they are alot of fun too!

  7. tell them you will clean it and take care of it and yes i am taking about a pool first of all have you decided how big, where it will go if its going on the grass the grass will be dead and you have to have a good brand because when i had a pool the philter was not good at all ( alot of the pools are like that ) then just after a week the water was green and the only way to get rid of the green things is to dump all the watter out not on the grass or all of the grass will die and if you want a good pool it is about $145- $200 and that is just the pool then you need the things to put in it and to test it so that is going to be about $57.99 and you need to test it alot and those things are $20 and if you want things to go in you pool for fun that will be about $30( for 2 or 3 things). So you will need $307.99 Also you can not return the pool so that is not good and some of the stuff you need to putt in the pool to make it good are small and you need to bring a sample of the water to the store to test it and they will tell you what you need to put in your pool i would say go every week. Also if you want to convince your parents start being more responsibleand make your parents not to get off there feet at all. or you can go to the YMCA hope this helps

  8. It's up to them.  If you have the money to pay for it, why are you living at home?

  9. First of all, how old are you?  If you and your sister still live in your parents' house; if your parents still pay the mortgage; if your parents still pay all the bills, buy all the groceries, pay for your cars, your insurance, etc.-----then  I would say the pool isn't going to happen if they say NO.

Children today seem to believe that they run the home.  If children are going to be allowed to tell the parents what to do, then the children should be financially supporting the parents.

    Good luck with that!
