My sister bought me a laptop for $999 plus tax on 8/16/2006. In return I am her accountant, when can I quit?

I've been keeping track of her checking accounts, mortgage payments, and bill payments for her since she bought it. How much would a real accountant/bill payer person get over that time: 8/16/2006 to present?

Well if she is the kind of person that doesn't expect things in return then you can quit anytime.

for our business we pay 75.00 a week.. keep track of all income, expenses and taxes.. so I would say you have paid your debt + interest.. best to talk to her about it.
