Question:

My sister heard that the Oystercard is going because of lack of funds. Anybody else heard this?

  1. On the contrary, it is being extended over a large area of South East England, far beyond London Underground  -some stations on the  Paddington line were added only 2 weeks ago.

    I'm not sure what your sister has heard, but you can be assured that Oyster is here for a very long time.

    Your sister heard wrong.

  4. They're extending it. Maybe she got confused about something else that needs more funding, but not the oyster.

  5. Nearly everybody who lives in London and uses public transport has an Oystercard and they're extending it on to all National rail stations so it would cost more to get rid of it. I think your sister heard wrong.
