So my little sister has been picked on by different girls since the third grade, physically and verbally. Now she is in the sixth grade and a few days ago according to my sister a girl she did not know randomly came up to her and started to beat on her with her fists.

My little sister has good grades, is pretty by defenition and has always been popular with other girls, she is smart and a real good kid. However, sometimes she has beat on my brother and I when she gets pissed off (I am eldest, brother is in the middle and she is youngest)

Now, I am not so sure my sister is as innocent as she would like everyone to believe, she lies a lot to get out of trouble with my parents and she can be very manipulative sometimes.

There is a saying, that family members are the people you know at home. Also according to my sister she doesn't fight back or start anything with these other girls, and my parents are believing her, and I have believed her up til' now, I've started to have my doubts.

I've been in a h**l of a lot of fights in high school and middle school and I know for a FACT that no one will ever start anything with you if you don't give them a reason to, especially a fist fight.

So I am starting to question her truthfulness, I think there may be more to the story than I am hearing (More than my Parents and brother too are hearing too.)

So what do you all think based on what I've told you?

  1. Sometimes the smallest things can cause someone to want to fight another though. Sure, your sister may have done something obvious to the other girl to cause her to attack her, but there's also the possibility that she did something very small that could have just been open to interpretation and the other girl simply took it the wrong way.

  2. I think if she keeps getting beat up she should fight back since the girls at her school is fighting her and not getting in trouble she should do the same. Just one hit!... make sure she doesnt make a scene. all she needs is just one punch to the girls and then they wont pick on her. Besides why is she beating you and your brother if shes younger than you.

The smartest answer ill give  you is she needs some one to back her up and to talk to.

  3. what you know is just only one side of the story.your sister is having some serious problem And she is not being open to any of your family members.if you ignore her it may turn out to something scary at some point of time upsetting you or your sister.just try to speak to the girls picking up fights with her or better try taking to her friends about it and try to judge the actual problem.if you cant figure it out still, try talking to her.not about the actual subject but something more interesting and then divert the topic skillfully so that she may talk to you freely about what is happening to her.school can sometimes be hard and i depends on how to tackle the situation.if your sister is the one picking up fights it only means that she is in some means insecure.insecurity makes people little aggressive.so just try building up her confidence and self respect and trust.talk to her about how you tackled with some hard phases of school.and just go really easy on her it can be a pretty sensitive issue.

  4. I think there is something SERIOUSLY WRONG with parents that raise their kids to be combative.........

all of you need to get some ANGER MANAGEMENT counseling.........right away!

  5. I think your sister is probably lying.   She said something to the girl or started the fight herself because girls just don't go beaten up on someone for no reason.  Given your sister's history I think she started it.

What you need to do is talk to the other girl and ask her what happened.  If I am right in my observation of the situation then I think your parents should get her some help and let the professionals find out why she is starting fights.

    Good luck!
