My sister might have an inferiority complex? o_o?

Well, I have two sisters but the one I'm talking about is a p*****n who also happens to be the middle child. I'm 19 and the youngest is 5. This sister had to deal with 2 kidney surgeries before turning the age of five but now she's okay. The problem is that my family's really brutal sometimes. It's the Chinese way perhaps, harsh love. My mother always tells everyone in the family that my sister is the most stupid out of all her children. She says that the youngest is, by far, her favorite and that the youngest will make the most out of her life in every aspect because the youngest resembles her the most. My father rarely talks to my sister but when he does, it goes something like this. "You're so stupid, lazy, and fat. No guy will like that. Why don't you exercise? You're a r****d that won't succeed in life." :( It hurts me to write this actually because I love my sisters and I love my mom a lot so please no mean comments about my mom. She's trying hard to change her comments because I confronted her with them. Anyway, a few months back, I went home and I was talking to my sister. She trusts me a lot and I'm her favorite. She told me this secret that she...threw up the McDonalds I bought for her so that maybe she can be skinnier. She says she just can't control her desire for food and since I'm not around to exercise with her (I go to a university and rarely am home), this is the method she's playing around with. I yelled at her and told her it was dangerous but I kept the secret because...it's my sister. She always keep my secrets despite our vast age differences. My sister is NOT fat. She's not even chubby!!! Anyway, what I'm also worried about is the way she acts towards people other than me and my parents. To my youngest sister, sometimes she is very cruel and other times...very kind. She tells me that sometimes, she gets so jealous and angry at the youngest sister that she wants to kill her in the most literal of ways. She's even physically harmed the youngest one before! :( Then, I noticed that she's kind of s****. and really mean to the few friends she has. She accidentally called my cellphone one time thinking i was one of her friends and had a really mean attitude until she realized I was her older sister. Then she got scared and hung up on me! She doesn't have many friends to begin with and the friends she has are stupid liars but still..her attitude was still VERY wrong. Do you think she has an inferiority complex? How can I help her? I'm almost never home because I don't like being in that surrounding. I'm currently taking summer school just to avoid home! My mother doesn't mean to be this way...she really doesn't. My father is a jerk. >_> He almost strangled me one time and he's ran around w/ a butcher knife to scare us before. He use to punch me in the head and hit me but not anymore. NO I WILL NOT REPORT MY PARENTS TO THE LAW. They haven't done this at all now anyway. Besides, in the Asian culture...it's a huge disgrace to report your own blood over abuse which is accepted in Asia.

Oh and my sister always says she hates being compared to either me or my youngest sister. she always says we're smarter, prettier, and skinnier. >_> Okay..my dad called me overweight once too so it's ridiculous. I'm 98 pounds at 5'3! I have a very fast metabolism and he called me fat. My mom said I was gaining too much too and that she was much smaller when she was my age.

this is the 3 of us siblings together...it's very hard to get my sister to take a normal pic because she thinks that pretending funny faces will make her feel less ugly because a normal pic of her is nasty anyway:

  1. Your father does sound like a jerk, as you stated.

No parents, no matter what culture, should talk to their children like they talk to your sister. That's verbal abuse!!!

I would be concerned about you sister who may be in trouble with a deadly eating disorder.

If I were you, I'd keep an eye on her and make sure that she isn't making herself sick.If so, she will need to get help immediately.

Bulimia and anorexia are to be taken seriously - Nothing to take lightly.
