My sister said I was trashy for letting my twin two year olds run around the house and backyard naked all day?

Is she right? I save a ton on diapers and not to mention I don't have to do their little toddler laundry.

The backyard is fenced in, no-one can see them but my dogs and me, I even trained them to pee in the backyard (JK on the last part, don't call CPS)

I do not believe that is trashy! as long as it is just you and the dogs, and no one else can see, (too many wierdos out there!) then I see no problem with it. My daughter used to love to run around naked.

Their your kids dont pay no mind to anyone they can think whatever and say whatever. Their just jelous they cant run around like that. Peeing in the back yard is no shame shoot my brothers did it for years. Once they pay your bills and have your babies set for life then you tell 'em now I`ll listen to what you gotta say but until then dont say a word. Ima let my son do it. Its still burning hot outside and all he has on is a diaper. My family tries to tell me stuff but whatever cuz they know them and me seen pictures when we were naked out and about.

People usually dont have a problem with naked babies, but the older they get, the more people will think its rude. Its a good idea to keep them clothed the majority of the time. They may start to favor being naked over being clothed, which is fine, but they might start to develop a problem where they wont keep clothes on. A friend of mine had to deal with this. Its rough having to deal with a naked baby running around a public area.

but a naked baby running around your own yard seems completely fine.

No way, they're just babies, and babies like to be naked. Let them be innocent as long as they can. I lay in my back yard, which has a 6 foot privacy fence topless while I tan. Nothing wrong with being naked, just as long as the neighbors aren't over.

Lots  of  toddlers  do that,   I  have been   to friends  houses  and  places  I  had to  work  at.

And  the  kids would  suddenly  just  drop off   their  shorts  or  diapers and start running naked.

Or  they would let  them  run  naked  when  only  the parents  were  home and no one  else.

It's  a  natural  urge  for people,  being  born as  such,  however of course  is  illegal  in  public.   Also  many  adults  walk  naked  in their  house  at  morning  and  night... provided  it  is  not  in  front of  an open  door or  window.

Reminds  me of  a Life time movie  several  years  ago... where   women  were  sued  for this  same thing... It  was   judged   that  it is  sometimes    ok  so  long  as  it  is  not  in  public,  and not  exploited.

Use  common sense,  and  in  a  year  or  two,, Advise  them  to  grow  out  of  this.

The only way to be certain is to take off you clothes and join them. If you do that and feel different about it then your sister may be on to something, otherwise; you are simply teaching your children that the body is something to be admired and not feared.

Then I am a trashy mom too.   My kids love to be naked in the back yard.   Not my 8 yr old and not my 5 yr old but my infant and my 2 yr old niece sure do.   I taught my son to use the potty outside by taking his little porta potty out in back yard.   It is summer and hot let the kids have fun.   But only on hot days and I hope most days you put clothes on them and it is not just to save $.
