  1. Because any animal can fight and small hamsters will often fight to the death, and the eating thing is just something they do, sadly.

They had a fight, one killed the other, and ate it.

It's as simple as it sounds!

  2. hamsters like to be alone they are together in the stores because they are with their ltter mates but if they get anry then one of them is dieing its better to keep them alone

  3. It is just there nature, n the wild they would do this so the smell doesn't attract predators. I know it sad but what can you do. well... you can and should kepp th ehamsters seperate sso they don't fight...

  4. It was probably a dominance issue, this can happen sometimes with rodents like hamsters, mice, rats, gerbils, etc. Robos shouldn't be kept alone because they are very social animals. When one of mine got lost while we were moving, the other died a few months later. These ARE NOT solitary animals like syrian hamsters. Sadly when these fights to the death occur, it's their natural instinct to then also eat the dead animal as they would in the wild.

  5. Hamsters are solitary, tey should live alone, or else they will fight to the death.

  6. same thing happend to me i got so scared

    they usually fought for dominance
