My skateboard has a wide side and a small side, which way am I suposed to ride it?

Hmm i think you're suppose to have the wider end behind and the smaller one in front.

wrong. the wider side goes in the front. the nose is winder and broader because thats where you flip your foot for flip. the tail is the skinny side.
