Most pro shops have skate stretchers.  It takes about 12 hours (usually you have to leave them overnight) but they can usually stretch it about a half size bigger.  Our pro shop charges about $8 to stretch them.

Your pro shop may also be able to just punch out the area if it's just the ball of the foot that is having the problem.

Take rubbing alcohol..rub the leather with it..stuff some newspaper in the skates..let dry over night....be sure when you stuff them, that you stuff them tight...

try going to an ice skating pro shop and get a heat mold. they put the skates in the oven and then ask you to put your feet in the boot. it really helps, especially to widen the skates.

"U"r skates r asking 4 a new pair; regarding the boot get them 2 a professional which has a stretching machine "BUT" will cost "U" same as a new pair; Soldiers used 2 urinate into the boots then marsh on them 4 few days in order 4 the leather 2 stretch......buy a new one...

Depending on how much wider you need your skates, most pro shops have skate stretchers and they can stretch your skates. If you need a much wider size then you may have to buy new skates, but if your skates just need to be a little bit wider then having them stretched by your pro shop should work!
