My skin is so dry,,,its depressing WHAT CAN I DO TO MAKE IT BETTER???

i already drink up2 5 litres of water a day

moisturise twice a day

take omega 3, 6, 9...zinc...vitamin e...multivitamin

BUT ITS SOO DRY...its so frustrating i feel lik crying

also do facial saunas make your skin better or more dry because it looks less dry when i do one but i heard different??!

  3. Don't worry! You're not the only one with dry skin ;)

    What you should use is a completely fragrance-free lotion such as Cetaphil, it won't clog your pores, and it will give your skin a natural glow from being moisturized.

  5. First, calm down. Stress is one of the many reasons your skin can be upset. It sounds crazy, but it's true.

    Now, you need to buy 'Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturizer'. It has saved my life.

    It's light, it's not greasy, though after you use it, your skin will be deliciously moist and you'll be glowing. Use it everyday on your face after your shower, and continue with all the procedures you already do. Also, eat lots of green vegetables like broccoli and carrots. Do not forget the carrots. =]

  6. i agree with   :)  also, try using a protein rich hair conditioner on your legs, letting it set on them for at least 2 min or as long as it instructs for your hair, my legs seem to be smoother when i use hair conditioner on them, esp. for shaving..  but yeah use lots of lotion like :) said, esp. right after your shower and make sure it is a good lotion like cetaphil - although that is expensive...  have you seen a dermatologist? perhaps you have exzema?

  7. Make sure your diet contains enough nutrients and calories to sustain healthy skin. Check your moisturizer, and if need be, start using a more intense, creamier version. You might find that regular gentle exfoliation helps- when the dead skin cells are sloughed off, the newer, healthier skin gets the benefit of more moisture when you moisturize.  

  8. Did you know that if you have severely DRY skin, that you should apply your facial cleanser DIRECTLY to your dry skin?  No rinsing your face first, apply the product directly to your skin, then add water.

  9. The only thing i can think of is washing your face with a good cleanser. Something like saint ives apricot scrub. You can find it at wall-mart or safeway, and maybe kingsoopers. Or another store you can think of. If you use more than a face wash; an acne treatment solution after you have used the face wash your skin will get more and more dry. You could also try using some lotion. That might help a little. Its good that your using all that stuff but make sure you don't go overboard. Using to much can make your face dry out quickly. Ive never been to a facial sauna but i would say that they do because they open up your pours.
