My skin looks better after a few beers?

Question

Anyone else find their skin looks better the day after they've been drinking? I would have thought it'd look worse, but it looks sorta glowing and healthy.

Unusual? Any reason for it?

Maybe you've still got the 'beer goggles' on?  But in the middle ages everyone had beer for breakfast as the water was so polluted, and beer-making cleared the bugs.

As  a cider drinker I get my 5-a-day fruit portions - just that I prefer them fermented. - An apple a day... and all that stuff.

You don't say how old you are, but the tide will turn when you hit 50.

Well,, there is a chance that the alchohol helped flush your skin out of the bad gunk, but i dunno. I never heard of that before.

No, never noticed that. Could be your blood pressure is sky high from all the drinking you've done, or if your skin looks tight and shiny (especially on your legs) then you are at risk of kidney failure. No going back when they fail.

Doesn't everybody's? I think you'll find if you look closer when you're sober it doesn't look quite so good!
