My skin reacts to silver, what is a cheap alternative metal to wear that won't react and where can I buy it?

I want to wear my great grandmothers cross pendant but the chain is made of silver. My skin reacts very badly to silver and maybe some other metals. What metal would I not react to that would be fairly cheap and where can I buy it? I want the color to be a silver like color, or at least not gold colored and want it to be metal. Thanks!

white gold! I have no idea where from but it looks like silver just isn't!

well you can find really nice chains made with white gold but they r more expensive. also try out steel
