My sleeping pattern? (addicted to the laptop)?

okay, so, lately, i have been using the laptop way too much!!

im starting college in 2 weeks.. i need to sort out my sleeping pattern

i have been using the laptop until 5am!!

i wake around 1to3 in the afternoon, have a good day.. turn on the laptop at around 12, and get hooked until 5!

this means about 8 hours asleep

and 14hours awake,

is this ok ?

well, still i want to improve it

so, its 6am now.. ive been awake until about 1pm,

should i get up now, and go have breakfast, and stay awake until 9pm? then go sleep, and sleep until 8hours later? will this be an ok method of sleep pattern? or will today be h**l? since im staying up for about 32 hours?

reply soon, then i will know to go to sleep, or go eat breakfast.. lol x

    i used to have the same problem

    'the internet gets addicting when youre having your summer and theres no one to hang with or nothing to do

    you just gotta stop using the computer so much. just go to bed at like 10 pm. or just stay up a whole day after your up til 5am then youll feel tired around 10 pm and will sleep well., then you can wake up at like 9am and wont feel all groggy and will have a longer day and not sleep til like 2

  2. Its ok and normal to sleep 8-9 hours and be up 14 hours. However, having day and night reversed is bad for college and day workers. Ur internal clock needs reset.

    This is a doctor recommendation that was given to me: stay wake for 24 hours and they go to sleep when ur normal sleeping hours would be.

  3. ha ha i have the same problem. except i start school in three days...

    but anyway, i think you could be really tired and get up now or sleep for 24 hours and be kinda groggy but on schedule.   I would get up, maybe try and sleep for 2 hours, then you don't waste a day. Just drink coffee, eat apples, drink soda. Keep yourself awake and go to bed at 9, maybe 10 or 11, then get  up at around seven to keep a good schedule.

  5. im addicted to my laptop 2 but latelly ive been having rlly bad eye sight and u might get that soon 2. ok so u hav to depend on ur college schedule lol. but dnt worry u r gunna lose ur laptop in collage A LOT lol but u will just try to sleep more. 8 hours is good for ur age...but u cnt be on ur laptop the whole time ur awake. thats not healthy. Hope i helped!!

  6. Eight hours of sleep a day is just what you want.  But try to go to bed the same time everyday.


  7. ill tell ya what i do, when i need to start sleeping properly again i stay up all night then go to bed at around 9 or 10 its hard to do but always works for me if u can stay awake but its probably not the healthiest thing to do!
