My slim PS2 has a problem with reading disks. When I put a disk in, it clicks, but doesn't seem to read it.?

The system only clicks with discs put in. It doesn't load them at all; I already tried cleaning the laser.

This is a common problem with the ps2.  You may have to send it in to get fixed.  Have you ever touched the laser?  Is your disk in good condition?  Was it in good condition b4 you put it in
