  1. "Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg..."

  2. The egg, because fish lay eggs and the planet used to be covered in water.

  3. The hen came first, because it produces the egg..........and when the egg hatched it was the first chick .....the egg could not come first, for what would have laid it..........take care Hindi.

  4. well its a trick question the only right answer hens dont lay eggs. just trust me.

  5. The answer is the egg.  It is very clear that things that have eggs evolved before chickens.  Even in the case of the developing chicken, you can have an egg with no chicken, but no chicken without an egg.  For a fact focused kid, that would be a nice clean answer.  Then you could go on and talk about different kinds of chickens.

    I don't know that much about various chickens, but here is a place to start.  It's from the wiki site for gallus, the scientific genus that chickens belong to...

    "Species

        * Red Junglefowl, Gallus gallus

        * Sri Lanka Junglefowl, Gallus lafayetii

        * Grey Junglefowl, Gallus sonneratii

        * Green Junglefowl, Gallus varius

    Prehistorically, the genus Gallus was found all over Eurasia; in fact it appears to have evolved in southeastern Europe. Several fossil species have been described, but their distinctness is not firmly established in all cases.

    One of the species in this genus, the Red Junglefowl, is of historical importance as the likely ancestor of the domesticated chicken, although it has been suggested the Grey Junglefowl was also involved."

  6. the hen 1st

  7. the soul.

  8. The Hen :)
