  1. rip it out of the wall! thats what we do with all ours hahah


  2. Take the battery out and put it back in, it is quite common to put the battery in backwards. The battery may also be too weak to do what it should.

  4. To be safe...Get you and everybody else out of the house and call the fire department, you could have carbon monoxide gas in your house, very deadly.

  5. I had the exact same problem! What you need to do is if you live in an apartment building, call the office and schedule when maitenance can come in and fix it. If not, look at the brand and look up the phone number and tell them.

  7. try calling your smoke detector company, i had the same problem this weekend, i gave them a call and they try to help me fix it, turns out that it was a different detector chirping
