  1. under something maybe under the fridge , couch,or some were hidden

  2. Yick, check under everything, is there anywhere it could have got out at?

  3. Get a mice and place it in a small cage and set it close to his vivarium.  And/Or Look around between tight places.

Since ball Pythons are nocturnal species, u should try looking for him when its a bit dark.

  4. Look in warm spots.

Snakes love the warm. (i would know i lost my snake before)

  5. well start in the room where his cage is and search everything thouroughly, even places you may not think he could be, look, snakes are real sneaky. if you dont find him in that room search the next closest room or closest and keep going, he'll turn up evebtually. you can also use the other pets you have to your advantage, keep an eye on them and watch their behavior, you'll be able to tell if they find something they dont like, if you still can't seem to find him, try the mouse idea, put in around in diffrent area in a little box with holes and it should coax the snake out of his hiding spot, good luck, i have a 6 foot boa, who never got out of his cage until one of our cats started to mess with him and he figured out how to get out to try to get the cat, his cage was in a walk in closet and so was the cats litter box and food and sometimes we would lock the cat in there for a bit and could tell when the snake got out cause the cat would be going crazy scratching and meowing at the closet door and sometimes we would open up the closet not expecting to find him out and he would have made his way up to the closet rod and we'd dang near walk right into him, but it was always easy to find him since he could'nt get out of the closet if he got out of his cage.

  6. In the crawl space or basement?

  7. Buy the mouse, put is in a cage, and tie a bell of some sort to it, then put a fan by it and wait, wait very quite you might catch a wabbit

  8. Let's hope you put the toilet seat down...

  9. look in the small places of your house. all reptiles like to hide in tight areas. im sure that he will slip by and you will find him. check under your bed, under your dresser, under the computer table, anywhere like that. Also if you have a cat you might want to put her in a cage. well good luck in finding it and look everywhere I told you to. =)

  10. Snakes are attracted to heat so go where ever its warm. Look by furnace and the dryer.

    Good luck!

  11. The best places to look are under the fridge and stove (the like the heat) also in the clothes hamper under piles of clothes.  Don’t forget they can climb…look on table legs in room corners in closets…depending on how small the snake is look in shoes.  If you have hardwood or vinyl floors you could put a row of flour down at doorways and such, if the snake crosses the flour it will trail…you will at least be able to tell which way the snake went.  A friend of ours found his ball python in a bag of substrate that he had bought…there was a hole that the snake went in through.  It will show up eventually.  We had one ball python that used to get out and go up under a table (there was a “shelf” under the table where the snake liked to go.  Another ball python got out and went into the couch cushions…another time he got out and just went exploring.  Another ball python got out and went behind a large blanket chest.  Another ball python got out and she was gone for about 3 weeks then one night we heard a crash and went to investigate and she was on top of the table going toward her “house”.  Lets see…we had a blood python that got out and crawled up on top of the ball python cage another blood got out and went under his cage.  Our kingsnake got out and we found her in a dresser drawer.  The point is we have had lots of escapes and none of them were permanently lost…snakes are crazy.

  12. This exact thing happened with my Corn Snake, Bob, we ended up finding him in the cabnit/closet/pantry where we kept the towels. I hope you find him! Best of Luck! I know just how you feel =)

  13. your snake is going to be curled up in to a ball somewhere where there is grass or a very soft spot or somewhere where theres wood hope that helps

  14. If my snake gets out i always seem to find her in the smallest darkest spot of my closet

  15. heres a few things I know to do.

    1) Put plastic bags (like the ones you get at the grocery store) and place them in random corners and such. That way, if he goes over one it makes noise and you can atleast tell what room he is in.

    2) Place heating pads in a corner so if he gets cold he will go to that to warm up.

    3) keep an eye for him around the fridge. I know you have already checked, but most reptiles that have been lost forever are usually found under the fridge because of the darkness and warmth.

  16. Sorry to hear he escaped! First thing to do is fix the reason why he got out in the first place.

Depending how long he has been missing, often they wont travel far from their enclosure, so look VERY well in the areas around there, also checking places you think he wouldnt go, as thats probably where he is haha.

Another trick ive heard is to pour a trail of powder over doorways etc so you can see if he has slithered past anywhere.

Id try to set up a heatmatt on the floor somewhere near his enclosure, and place the mouse on this. Turn off the lights and check back when you can, a warm mouse and darkness might be enough to lure him out.

    Good luck!

  17. duhh..........just let him come to you!

  18. is there any way he could have got out of your house? if not i would say get as many people as possable to help look or you could just wait untill he shows up in the mean time i would get the cats and dog out of the house
