I don't know why. Tomorrow it will be two weeks since I got her to eat anything. She doesn't appear to be sick. She is lively and doesn't have mucus or mites. She is a corn snake by the way. About 6 inches long not very big at all. I don't know what to do. I tried feeding her in the tank. Out of the tank. but she doesn't seem interested...... Help?

  1. My brother had a snake and it did this a lot.

    It could be

-Fasting (not eating randomly for no reason)

-Shedding its skin (they dont eat anything when doing this)

-Had a big meal and doesnt need food for a long time

    -Could be sick

Still try and offer her food and everything she needs

  2. i wouldnt worry about it too much yet...offer her food as normal...if you feed her once a week offer her food only once a week.  offering more than that can stress your snake out.  if she is used to being handled handle her as normal during this time.  since she is such a small snake you might take her to the vet if she still hasnt eaten in 5 or 6 weeks.

and they dont eat crickets and roaches...

    good luck

  3. I wouldn't be worried if the weight is normal.  They sometimes slow down in eating if the weight is up on them..........

  4. get a rat

  5. 6 inches? Have you tried some small crawling insects? Small snakes love crickets and roaches.
