i took him to the dr today and the dr said it could be because of an ear infection or if he had a hole in the roof of his mouth, but he looked and it was fine, also he said hes not worried because his lungs are fine and he is growing fine too... my dr may not be worried, but i am, because he acts like hes choaking and cant breath, and what if i am asleep when he does it and i dont hear him. it happens all the time, about 4 times in the past 2 hours. and it dont even have to be right after a feeding. will someone please help me

  1. could be reflux, my daughter has it and tho most of the time she spits up, she has had it just come out her nose, her nose is almost always stuffy too, which is from the reflux.

  2. get a 2nd opinion also he might be allergic to milk  but don't just take one doctors word for it good luck with him

  3. This definitely warrants a visit/referral to a pediatrician. I would suspect a hole in the roof of his mouth as well. I knew a boy who had this, but really, it could be so many things.

Please see a specialist. Don't let them tell you it's nothing, trust your instincts!
