  1. If he's under the age of 21, he won't get one at all.  My step daughter works for Chase and she told me that all the checks have gone out already.  If you are in doubt, go to

irs.gov.     and click on where is my???

  2. The IRS will mailing out stimulus checks through 12/31/2008.

Your son can go to the IRS website and use the where's my stimulus program to see if he is getting a rebate and when it is being mailed.  If the program gives no information, his tax return hasn't been processed byt he rebate program as yet.

  3. 800-829-1040 is the IRS "help line".  They will help you.

  4. have not received mine yet either call the irs at 1-800 829-0582,   ext 726 you might have to wait about a half an hour but you will get a live person. The person I talked to said they have over a million checks that still need to be sent or direct deposited, there is a second batch going out now, first direct deposit, than mailings. If you filed close to april 15th, chances are it was not scheduled for the first batch. Even f you filed on time there were a lot that was overlooked the first time around, Also those that filed solely to get the stimulas check, such as ss recipients are mostly in the second batch as these were given to a third party to process. This is what I was told when I called. my ss ends in the 60's and was told mine will probably be direct deposited sometime in august, hope this helps

  5. call the irs, go to irs.gov, also check with local irs/federal building if can't get through and want to talk with someone in person, 1800-829-1040  mine is 64 got mine paper check end of June. If his orig. 1040 was done direct deposit refund his ck. will be sent that way. If he owes child support, back taxes, they will take it, or part.  If he didn't file a tax return he will need to.  Also the IRS sent out 150,000 checks to the wrong households, check in person, local fed. buildingbranch of irs

  6. When did he file?

    How did he file?

    Is he a dependent?

  7. I assume you mean that he didn't receive HIS check.  Did he qualify?  When did he file, and by mail or efile?  Does he owe any back government debt like taxes, back child support, defaulted student loans?  Did he file an amendment?  Have anything questioned about his original return?  All of those things could affect his stimulus check or the timing of when he gets it.
