My son's XBOX live account was hacked 6 weeks ago and Microsoft won't unlock the account!! ?

His account was hacked and thousands of points bought on my credit card. Anyway my credit card company cancelled these transactions straightaway, but Microsoft locked the account and are still unable to unlock it. They keep saying we need to give you codes for the remainder of your subscription but we don't know when these will be available just be patient!!! Yeah tell that to a 10 year old. Has anyone else encountered this and how long did it take to sort out the live account. Thanks.

just create a new account but you should tell him not to fall for scams. about free points or giving away his password. and he should be wary about so called "friends" on xbox live.

and he needs to make a new hotmail aswell.

It is impossible to hack the account unless someone knows the password. Ask him if he gave it to anyone. All you can do is wait.

Yeah this happened my friend!I would try make a new acount dont tell him the password and you put it in where needed also I wouldnt put your credit card details on the account just buy the points in a store and only sign in to official game websitesxbox.com etc.

when he gets that accont back dont put your cridit card on it   if u gonna buy soemthing next u go store buy some points

then since hes giveing out the email and pass u need to change it and dont tell him he dosnt need it unless he going back and forth to hgis friends

i have no clue just do that hope that dont happan no more

but have microsoft delet your cridit num,ber off that accont
