  1. Enroll him and the rest of the family in some family therapy specializing in your son's disorders.  It will help you all understand what he's going through and how you can help him deal with his disorders as well as help him learn to cope in a healthy, constructive way.

  2. Have you come by this from taking him to a pediatric psychologist who is experienced in diagnosing multiple disorders? If you haven't that should be your first step.

I'm an administrator on a site for people with neurological disorders but its mainly (parents of) children we deal with. There are others there in the same situation as you. I really feel you would do well to connect with them. They are learning from each others' experience and supporting each other emotionally. Its very hard living with the problems you encounter and finding out how to deal with all the things you have to deal with. Having others who really do know what its like makes such a difference.

If you try that site and don't feel comfortable with it there are many other good ones out there. We have links to some of them and our members vouch for every one we have listed.

I wish you the best! I know what its like to love your child and not be able to kiss their boo boos and make them better instantly. It hurts so much.
