  1. omg go to a dr. right away!

  2. Tell him that every person is an individual and that his real friends will not care about it.  He needs to learn to accept himself for who he is.  You can help with that by praising him and helping him to have self-confidence.

  3. Do you mean smaller in circumference or shorter? I think a lot of people have as second toe that is taller/longer than their big toe.

  4. It's very common for a big toe to be shorter than the one next to it.  In fact, I was always told that people with a second toe that is taller than the big toe are more intelligent, so you could use that!  (I happen to not believe that legend though, since my big toe is taller than my second toe! lol)

If by smaller you mean, like thinner and shorter, well then that would just be a minor deformity and nothing to worry about.  Most people have ugly feet anyway :)

  5. Smaller or shorter? If it is just shorter, that is normal. Some peoples' second toe is longer, on some it's shorter, and on some - the big toe and the one next to it are the same length.

If it is really smaller (shorter and thinner) I would first like to know, has it always been this way or is it something new? If it has always been that way - then I guess he just has a small deformity and the doctors would have told you about it if it's something to worry about.

If his toes use to all be portionally the same and the other toes recently started growing faster or the big toe started to shrivel up - I would suggest you take him to the doctor and make sure there are no circulatory problems going on.

  6. That is quite common. My 2nd toe is slightly bigger then my big toe, by an centimeter.
