  1. my daughter's first word was s h i t .  we thought i was hilarious.  having twins,,,i said that word and many more ALOT.  there are worse things in life.  try and not use the word or show any emotion when he says it.  if he is getting a reaction out of you when he says it,,,he will keep saying it.

  2. Is he really saying that or is he trying to say something else? My son used to call his sister Orgy, but was trying to say Georgie.

Teach him to say mum and dad, you will be safe with that. lol

  3. wats a wanka?? is that like a word for a boys part?? sorry i didnt know how else to put it :)

  4. take the word he says and turn into a another word close to it that sounds almost the same and re correct him until he says it right and then hope he never hears the bad one again. good luck. remember 4 years old that mimicking age be care full.

  5. lol. he must have heard it from some one, so if you dont want him to say it then avoid using the word ureselves or ask the perosn using it 2 stop and watch thee language in front of ure lil un!! I would say just ignore what he is saying, my lil uns swear a lot and if i laugh or shout it makes them worse as they thrive on attention whether bad or good!

If he uses it i would consider putting him on the naughty step.

Good luck and if u want to chat me yahoo is emmsy_emma@yahoo.co.uk xxxx

  6. teach him another word like "job" and keep saying it.... dont react to the work that he says it will just encourage him,,,,,

    job job job

  7. was he talking to his dad or you

  8. what does  wanka mean? anyway, he learns things from home. so, it means he learned it from the person who's always with him or the show hes always watching.STOP saying bad words and doing naughty things when hes around if you want him to learn good things.

you can teach him another word by alwyas talking to him.

  9. The Only Way I Know Of Is To Hit Him When He Says It

  10. And where do you think he got it from???

  11. What should you do?  Stop saying rude words in front of him.  His language will develop by listening to you and those you surround him with.  If you don't want him to say rude words, make sure no one uses them in front of him.

  12. Kids are funny sometimes, but you have got to ask qourself where did he learn it?

  13. Tell him in a sharp tone 'NO' dont praise him, walk away and dont pay any attension to him for a few mins, If he attemps a new word shower him with praise saying things like 'Whos a good boy'

    princess x

  14. One has to ask how he learnt this word and how this was the word he heard so often that he learnt it before Mum or Dad etc...

  15. Watch your language in front of him.

When he says the word to other people tell them he is saying something else.

    examples

If in ireland : one car, on car (wants to go on car)

has he seen willy wonka?  if not buy it, then you can tell everybody he wants to see the film again cos he loves it

  16. Do not react to him as he will find the attention rewarding. Just say something like did you know Daddy's friend is a banker? Then he hopefully will replace it with this. Find the source of the foulness and stub it out chick or it will carry on!

  17. lol, my son said  f*****k  for truck and duck and  a s s  for grass, its normal, but try not to react by laughing because it will only enforce this behavior, try repeat the right word to him everytime he says it the "naughty" way, he will catch on.

And i like others am guessing this in another word for a private part, so i would still teach him the right way to say it because you dont want him growing up thinking its a bad word to say. At least he will know what the word is and what it means.

  18. i agree with jojo =)) spell it properly :)) and he has obviousl heard it somewhere so wherever it is he heard it whether at home or wherever else try not to let him hear words like that agin :P

  19. Ignore him, he knows it's a power word and if you confirm that will attention he will continue to use the word.  Stop using it yourself, and ignore him when he does - or pretend he was saying something else that sounds similar.  Like Wonka (Willy Wonka of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory)...  With my son it was "truck" except it started with f instead of tr, I pretended he was talking about trucks.
