My son and food?

My son is 3 years old and weights about 30 pounds and is pretty skinny. But he eats like CRAZZZY. I couldn't even tell you how much he eats. EVERY single time I walk into the kitchen he tells me he's hungry, every time we get in the car, he's hungry, he just never wants to stop! Even at night sometimes he wakes up in a half sleep and starts crying and when I ask him whats wrong he looks at me all sad and says "donuts" or "cheetos!" and I'm just like huh?! And it's not like all I feed him is junk, he eats just about EVERYTHING, seriously, even squid! He eats a lot and is skinny, but should I try to make him calm down a little? lol. He makes it look like I starve him when all he does is eat! lol

  1. I wouldn't worry about it. Soon enough he will gain weight and if you're that concerned call his doctor.

  2. My son is also 3 and weighs 30 pounds so I don't think you have anything to worry about. My son cries every night before bed that he's hungry when he just had a bedtime snack 30 minutes before that. I know exactly how you feel. I think maybe it's a habit that they ask for food constantly? Or attention, because I know that I jump when he says he's hungry. Mommy's can't stand the thought of their kids being hungry right?

  3. Bet he'll be a tall man! He sounds like his metabolism is really fast and that is usual for tall men.

  4. My son is 3 in August... and he's a walking eating machine. He also weighs about 34 lbs. I think it's because they are growing so much that they just can't keep up with their intake. I wouldn't worry to much about it, especially if his Pediatrician thinks he's healthy...

Be thankful you don't have a picky eater... lol
