What can I do? He stuck I am estimating 4 squishy water balls (that kind that hold water and you squeeze them and the water comes out) down the toilet and I guess flushed it and now it wont flush...just fills up with water. Is there any way to save it or do I need to replace the toilet?

  1. Remove the toilet.  See if the balls are inside the actual j curve of the toilet or stuck in your outlet where the wax ring goes.  If you don't find any balls at all, call a plumber to come and ream it out.  I don't know of any other way to get rid of a sponge like material than that.  When you remove the toilet, do all the stuf you ordinarily would do--shut off the water feed to it, get the water out of it and the tank with cans, buckets, and towels, pull the nuts on the sides, and lift the toilet straight up and then onto its side on towels.  You can, if you like, take the tank off first, but that means more fitting back together.

Then you can see if the balls are stuck either at the curve water system with something flexible and try to force them out, or if they are stuck at the floor flange point.

  2. 1. Turn off the water supply to the toilet. 2. Take a water pump and drain out most of the water from the toilet bowl and from the tank above the bowl. 3. Take off the toilet from the floor. There may be some water leakage. 4. Try and get the balls from the toilet.

Or call a plumber or get a toilet plunger. =)

  3. I think you should call a plumber. I have had good luck w/ACME.  Good luck yourself!

  4. every time my toilet clogs up (human waste) i have to flush buckets of hot water down it. you can try to take off the toilet (when i was 5 and flushed baby wipes down the toilet), or i think you may need to call a plumber. i doupt you need to rplace the toilet.

  5. You could take the toilet off and get it in the bathtub so you can drain all the water. You need to reach in from both sides and see if all the balls are there. If not then you need rotor rooter to come out and see if the balls made it to the street or plugging up your line.
