My son had a mild fever for 2 days. We gave him tylnol and motrin to break the fever. He is now fever free for a day but has developed a rash on his legs, stomach, back and face. Do you think he may have chicken pox?

  1. no and I say that because chicken pox is not a rash.  It's more like little blisters than anything that itch really bad and then scab over when they get popped.  It could be measles.  Go to the ER if you're that concerned about it that it can't wait until tomorrow.

  2. It could be because of the heat... Try putting a antihistamine on it. If that doesn't clear it up take him to the Dr.. Chicken pox are blisters, and don't look like a rash. They are also very itchy.
