  1. when i was on my first day of school i behaved

all theese kids now dont behave why not really why not bad parent maybe

  2. I agree with happy mom. Make out a calender for him, but not a daily, do a weekly one so that he knows well ahead of time. And since he probably doesn't read well yet, you can do it with pictures until then. You could also make a reward chart and give him stickers for good behavior. If you're concerned about the school, make an unannounced stop in his class to see what may be going on. You'll probably have to sign in at the office first, just don't tell your son or the teacher that your going to do it. Best to stay out of sight of your son if you can too. You could also ask around with the other parents to see if they're having problems too. Chances are, he'll get over this as soon as he adjusts, just don't take him out of school.

  3. Perhaps he just misses his mommy?

You should go in one day and check out the place.

Seriously you never know what happens in those schools.

But try to stay out of sight.

    Don't take him out!!

That'll make him want to stay in day-care.

  4. he has to get used to going to school. if you are really desparate you can homeschool him

  5. All 5yr olds go through (or most).   Stick to what you are doing and he will soon outgrow this.   He just needs to make a couple of friends and he will be just fine.  Talk to his teacher and see if you could stay with him for a few minutes longer.   Each day, stay a little bit less.

  6. Find out what the problem is...it may not be him...my son told his kindergarten teacher he didn't like her, she made him throw up...they ended up firing her because she was so mean!

  7. Explain to him every morning the schedule for the day. When you drop him off, reassure him that he is going to be fine and you will be back to pick him up. New school. Everything is new, give it a week or two and he will be loving it. Just needs time to adjust
