  1. yes. when my friend broke his femur he was out of school for like 1 month. his mom called the district and everyday a teach would come by to make sure he didn't fall behind

  2. If you call the school board they can send someone over.

I have a friend who has this disease and he's constantly sick

so they send a tutor over there on the days he's sick.

they teach him everything the kids in his class learned.

so im sure you can get someone like that at your house until he gets better

  3. Honestly you can't expect the teacher to come to your house every day after teaching classes all day, she will be busy and has a life of her own. Try to get a tutor to come in maybe every other day and teach him the same sort of things that he would learn in class.

  4. I'm sure. Schools do they whole home schooling thing so your child will be able to be caught up when they come back to school. So the easiest thing to do is to just call up the school he is suppose to attend and they will have all the answers i'm pretty sure! I hope your son recovers well!

    Hope I Helped :)

  5. If you want to hire a tutor you could probably look in the yellow pages for one, or maybe the teacher at a public school could drop off materials for him, and you could teach them to him. That way he wouldn't be too far behind when he comes back to school.

Best of luck for your son's recovery.

  6. Call the school district.  They can arrange for a tutor to come to your home while your child heals.

  7. Call the principle and ask - most schools do have tutors available free of charge for this kind of situation.

  8. I doubt that's going to happen.  You have the option of hiring a private tutor though.

  9. Call your school district.  There should be a program available for homebound students.  You may get a teacher or a tutor.  Specify any special needs your child has.  You can ask his doctor to write a letter about any requirements for rest, activity limitations, etc.  You may just be referred to the school he will eventually be attending, but in that case, you will still need the same information.  Good luck on both his recovery and his education.  I hope he gets one fantastic teacher because I see he has a fantastic mother.

  10. Yes.Ask the school district.I use to live in B-More.Now I live in HOWARD COUNTY.
