  1. You should be worried about it because he already has his cold for 3 days. You should go to his pediatrician and have him checked-up.Babies are prone to infection so if your baby has fever, cold, flu or anything not normal in his body for 3 days already, you should already take him to the doctor.

  2. call your doctor and see what they say, but make sure you let them know everything thats going on..but if it was me I would take him in because it could be serious like an infection.. hope i was some help and good luck and hope your little one gets better.

  3. From what I've been told, it's perfectly normal for a baby to catch a cold a few times within the first year and if you avoid it, you're lucky. Saline drops are excellent for unblocking a stuffy nose and a dehumidifier will help keep the air moist at night when they tend to get a little more congested. Make sure he is getting plenty of fluids and let him sleep and rest when he wants to but if his cough worsens then you might need to take him to the Doctor, just in case it lingers a little and turns into an infection instead of the common cold. Just out of interest, he doesn't suffer with watery eyes too does he? If so, it might be a touch of hayfever (yet another allergy huh?) as sneezing, coughing and nasal problems can be linked to that as well as a cold.

If he is acting himself, doesn't have a fever and is generally not bothered by it all then I would just keep an eye on him and if in doubt, take him to see the Doctor but I'm sure he is fine and just like when we have a cold, it'll pass.

Elevate his cot/crib a little to help with the snuffles and give him lots of cuddles :-) x

  4. If not sure always seek medical advice. Though it sounds like just a common cold. They get around 8 such infections till they are 5-6. Little bit of phlem is OK but repeated phlem with cough could be a sign of chest infection.High temperature would be a warning sign.
